Catherine-Zeta Jones diagnosed with bipolar disorder or manic depression. Tragically, her husband, Michael Douglass, was diagnosed with throat cancer last year. [...] Reports have started coming in several days ago from the East coast of the United States that “low levels” of radiation – specifically iodine 131 – have been detected. With levels leaking from Japan now approaching those of the 1986 Chernobyl accident in the Soviet Union – the worst nuclear disaster in history – this is sure to be even worse. It is only a matter of time before governments begin admitting this disaster will be worse than Chernobyl. What is worse is that governments are in denial and issuing false reports as to the extent of the damage and the dangers to people around the world. As an example of the massive denial, only a few days ago the Japanese government was advising people within a 20 kilometer radius of the accident to stay indoors, shut their windows and not run their air conditioners. Can someone put a bit more punch in their koolaid? The US government is advising it’s citizens to move at least 50 miles from the danger zone — still a ridiculously small number. If their own son or daughter were in Japan you can be sure they would tell them to get the hell out [...] It seems someone’s finally coming to his senses and taking some good advice. If you read my post about Google HERE . . . , you wil know that Google is destroying the content of the Internet by trying to play God, and force everyone to conform their articles and information to a certain “ranking” protocol if they want to get a high indexing in Google’s now crappy search engine. Why Microsoft can’t take advantage of Google’s obvious weakness now and kick them to the curb is a mystery to me. People are beginning to hate Google, and for good reason. Have you done a search in Google lately and been unhappy with the search results? Websites stuffed with meaningless keywords designed to “rank” highly in the search engine, and just enough content to satisfy a squirrel hunting for nuts? That’s what you get because that’s what Google is demanding from publishers. They don’t care about the quality of the content, they only care if the article points to a product someone wants to buy. Google has become an overly-commercialized monster spitting garbage, which I wouldn’t care about if Google didn’t have monopoly control over Internet information. What a joy [...] Image via Wikipedia As many of you know who have been in the Internet business world for some time, PayPal has always had one of the worst reputations for third party payment processors. This reputation was well deserved. There were thousands of cases in which PayPal, without warning, shut down business owners’ PayPal accounts for no apparently good reason, and if there was a reason, PayPal had no intention of telling them what it was. That’s how dictators operate – in a realm of secrecy. These despotic, unethical and inhumane actions on the part of PayPal were brutal and devastating to thousands of business owners. People who had spent years building up their businesses saw them destroyed in an instant, at the whim of some jerk who worked at PayPal, who obviously had some sort of pathological inferiority complex which could only be satisfied by the sadistic, wanton destruction of people’s lives. And the owners of PayPal didn’t give a damn. In fact, the huge negative publicity garnered by this brutish, dictatorial destruction of people’s online businesses was actually good for PayPal’s business. It put PayPal in the headlines and gave them massive media exposure which they never [...] If you’re thinking about getting life insurance, the first thing you should know is that life insurance comes in two basic types. Those types are whole life insurance and term life insurance, and the primary difference between them is that term insurance covers only a specific period of time. This is usually one to three decades. [...] From the “Americans aren’t so stupid after all and may be starting to wake up” Image via Wikipedia department. Healthnews.com reports “American consumers spent an estimated $34 billion on alternative medicine in 2007. In fact, alternative medicine accounts for over 11 percent of out-of-pocket spending on health care in the United States. “ Alternative medicine is anything not controlled by the pharmaceutical mafia which protects hundreds of billions of dollars in profits every year by manipulating and exploiting groups such as senior citizens into becoming drug addicts courtesy of your local doctor and the mainstream medical establishment, which includes the FDA, your friendly local government strong-arm men. Think yoga, biofeedback, diets, nutritional and fitness coaching, chiropracters, naturopathy, hypnosis, vitamin supplements, herbs, natural and organic foods, a brain that actually functions part of the time, meditation, tai chi, gardening, long walks and prayer to the holy godfather in the sky. You create your reality with your thoughts, so think positively. It’s great to see Americans finally waking up to the incredible health benefits of alternative health therapies, particularly the anti-aging supplements that can extend lifespan. Over 1/3 of all Americans are now using some form of alternative medicine, [...] Longevity, anti-aging and disease not only benefits us individually, allowing us to live longer, healthier, more vital and vibrant lives, but has tremendous financial value to society as well. University of Chicago Business School professors Kevin Murphy and Robert Topel used data from insurance company compensation outlays for accident claims to find the value of a person’s life in monetary terms: $5 million dollars US. Of course a refined scheme would have to consider worker productivity and the loss of it, insurance claims for accidents and deaths, the additional cost of health care which reverberates through the Medicaid and Medicare systems, from higher taxes to pay for health care for the elderly, private health-care and the cost of life and accident insurance, etc, but you get the idea. Using this figure they were able to calculate the value of the increase in life expectancy – 6 years – which occurred in the US from 1970-1990 for the total economy – $57 trillion 1992 dollars. Thus, every year we can add to the average lifespan of the US population saves, or adds to, the economy the princely sum of $2.4 trillion dollars. It pays, and is a huge economic boost to [...] |

Anthony Weiner Resigns in Public Humiliation
Isn’t it hilarious how the guys who always cry loudest for things like “family values“, and who love to hold up images of themselves as model citizens, always seem to be the ones caught with their weenies flapping in the wind?
Hypocrites, for example, like Sen. Larry Craig, who love to publicly bash those immoral gay sex fiends, was caught groping for a man’s penis in an airport bathroom stall. Little bored Mr. Craig? Can’t think of anything better to do with your time?
If there ever was a just God, that was his day of reckoning. Too bad the man he aimed to fondle was a police officer, or Craig could have kept up his angelic image, protecting us all from our immoral dark side.
Now it seems we have another Weenie on Capitol Hill. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) has now been caught sending tweet messages to young girls, and pictures of his manly groin to salivating ladies. Or was that the 17-year-old girl? Gosh, sure things get confusing on the Internet, especially when we have our pants down. Even Weiner’s spokesperson tried to claim that his correspondence with a 17-year-old girl [...]
