Many people are confused about how to love themselves. Because there were treated poorly by their parents, they naturally feel bad about themselves and treat themselves in a similar way – without respect, without love, without reverence. If we are to live successful lives, we must learn how to love ourselves as the beautiful, brilliant, spiritually divine souls that we are.
So how should we love ourselves? You know you’re on the right path when you love and honor the goodness in others, foster a divine connection and live according to your deepest principles. While we should also love and honor what is not good in others, that does not mean we can’t get angry or express our disapproval. Sometimes anger is a natural, healthy and productive response to reality. It’s all a matter of how you channel it. Imagine if Martin Luther King had not become angry at the inhumanity of social injustice and racism. But he directed his anger toward positive social change.
It doesn’t make any difference what other people say or think about you. You must know who and what you are, and that is all that matters. You need to have [...]
We all know it’s hard to keep a positive outlook with the stress of daily life. There are people that we come across everyday at work, home or in the general public that just make it their mission to bring other’s down. [...]

Time and again, as a consulting healthcare speaker, someone will unburden their heart to me concerning their problematic anger. From these discussions it’s clear that they consider anger to be somehow intrinsically negative. Sadly if you believe anger to be in some way “bad,” it’s improbable you’ll ever figure out how to deal with it in a productive way. This essential point is crucial to augmenting your overall emotional intelligence.
Anger can be, on occasions, an entirely appropriate response . It’s a power driving personal and organizational change. Anger can empower you to take the (often difficult) action vital to establish long-term change. So, first off, the initial reframe I want to suggest is that you don’t have difficulties with anger, you have a problem with mismanaged anger.
The next aspect to grasp is that anger can be aimed internally as well as externally. This “internal” rage can negatively affect your health. There is ample research to suggest that unsuccessfully controlled anger has detrimental biological consequences to the heart and lungs
It’s also very important that you appreciate anger management from a dual biological-psychological perspective. As an author and healthcare speaker, it’s clear that , for [...]

You may have heard that the vitamin D health supplement is one of the healthiest vitamins in the world, yet one of the most underutilized as most people do not have sufficient amounts in their body. That’s because the vitamin d health supplement is made when the skin comes into direct contact with sunlight, and we have all been taught by the sunscreen manufacturers that any and all sunlight is harmful to you, which is a lie.
“Vitamin D suppresses tumor growth and promotes differentiation in colorectal cancer in much the same ways it does in breast and prostate cancer. Normal colon cells have higher vitamin D receptor concentrations than abnormal or cancerous colon cells.” – James Dowd and Diane Stafford, The Vitamin D Cure
It is vitally important for your health to get adequate levels of direct sunlight on your skin, an average of about 15 – 30 minutes a day without sunscreen. If you don’t you’ll have natually low levels of vitamin d in your body and your chances of getting cancer will skyrocket.
“The combination of vitamin D and vitamin A slows prostate cancer [...]

In Sanskrit, chakra means a spinning wheel or vortex. There is another meaning to chakra, which indicates the seven chakras of the human body that relate to the seven gland systems of the body. These chakras are centers of spinning energy with the first one on the base of the spine and the seventh one at the crown.
Everything moving causes vibrations, and since chakras are centers of spinning energy, there is vibration here. This vibration brings about sound, which is the reason why different body parts vibrate with different frequencies at the different chakras.
There are not only seven independent chakra sounds for the seven chakras but also seven colors associated with the different chakras. These colors also vibrate at different frequencies where both the chakra sound and color helps in the restoration of balance in the chakras. This in turn helps in the restoring of health.
You only need your voice for sound healing via chakra sounds, to feel better, calmer and clearer in a matter of minutes. However these chakra sounds should be soft and gentle, and not longer than five minutes duration each.
1. Sound healing starts with the deepest [...]
Chakras are the focal points for universal energy which flows through us, whether we know it or not. Your chakras have a profound influence on your life whether this effect is good, such as when they are properly aligned for energy flow or whether this effect is for the worse, like when they are blocked, preventing the flow of energy or are out of alignment. When someone is sad, depressed, feeling anxious or insecure about themselves and in pain, what can you do to help them?
Often it seems that when you try and say something encouraging to someone who is really down, it has no effect. You could become the target of misdirected anger or disappoint. Maybe they feel shame or embarrassment and shut down or turn away from you – change the subject.
It is difficult for some people to accept or hear positive things about themselves because they don’t believe in themselves to begin with. What we know to be true in our mind we sometimes cannot embrace with our hearts.
At difficult times like these it is important to stay positive and encouraging, and to perservere. This eventually lets the person know that you are not just trying to flatter them, but genuinely care about how they feel. When you really care, your heart will be felt in the weight and tone of your words.
Positive, encouraging feedback from others: family, friends, a community, is necessary for us all to feel whole. It helps us realize that we are human like everyone else, that other people are hurting too, and that [...]

Alpha-lipoic acid is considered one of the most powerful antioxidants manufactured by the human body. It has been called the “universal” antioxidant because it boosts glutathione levels in cells, and is both water and fat soluable. Alpha-lipoic acid is found in every cell of the body, a cofactor in several multi-enzyme complexes where it helps turn glucose into energy.
Alpha-lipoic acid is an essential co-factor in energy metabolism in organisms from microbes to humans. A nutritional coenzyme that participates in the energy metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, with a particular role in blood glucose disposal, alpha-lipoic acid is necessary for the mitochondrial energy production of the cell, which keeps us alive; it can also help reduce the aging process which reduces wrinkles in the skin and inhibits the disease process.
The therapeutic potential of alpha-lipoic acid is just beginning to be explored, but holds great promise. Alpha-lipoic acid can be found in foods such as organ meats, spinach, broccoli, peas, brussel sprouts, and rice bran. The richest natural food source of alpha-lipoic acid is red meat; other sources include, spinach, broccoli, potatoes, yeast (particularly brewer’s yeast), and certain organ meats (such as [...]
With every day passing we are able to discover unknown facts that have supported the existence of homo-sapiens on this planet and have helped them pass through the test of time and reach the point where they have been able to create a civilization. Of these unexplored aspects that is not completely known by us is the impact of the cosmic energy on the lifestyle and the actions of human body. It is believed that seven chakras in our body participate in exchanging energy and hence control a lot of human activities and behaviour. [...]
